I think this is a distraction, the Chinese are up to something else. If you're gonna spy, why use a huge balloon that everybody can see by looking up?

The U.S. upgraded to Defcon 2 several days ago since that balloon was discovered. It appears Latin America upgraded to Defcon 2 today. Now the entire planet is at Defcon 2.
