Some Boomers grew up during Jim Crow so they quite literally had it on easy mode. Late Millennial cacs and Gen Z will have grown up during the social media era where racism isn’t frowned upon but they still have to struggle with the modern economy so yeah, story checks out.Boomers grew up in a time of relative stability where you could rent an apartment on minimum wage. They lived life on chill mode

Millenials and gen Z have something going for them that I respect: honesty. They are not as two faced as previous generations.
If they dont want to get married, they wont instead of doing what their predecessors did and marrying someone they can hardly tolerate and making everyone around them miserable. If their marriage isnt working they also just end things instead of continuing to suffer for no reason.
If they dont want to work at a company for their whole life that treats them like shyt, they'll find new jobs and leave or take a huge loan to go back to school.
If they dont want to be parents, they'll simply not be parents and say that theyre too busy/cant afford kids or just straight up dont want to be parents.
I respect that aspect of younger generations they genuinely just say how they feel instead of pretending that everything is okay while it clearly isnt. Ironically that is part of the maga appeal. They arent saying "the character of our country is changing" or some other shyt they just straight up say "theres too many _____" just admit they don’t care if they are taxed more. They admit they dont care about mass shootings. They admit they think certain countries are inferior. Etc.
You see it in a lot of FBA rhetoric too. They see africa as a shythole, they think any immigrant is a threat. They tend to also support narratives around black poverty being pathological and a matter of black people having messed up priorities(sounds a lot like the 'inferior culture' talking points white supremacists use) They often tend to believe women should be subservient to men too. Generally same conservative beliefs as maga but they break with them when it comes to anti black racism. They dont mince words they just say how they feel.
I dont agree with them but I at least value their honesty. The reason democrats and other centrist parties will fail to get people to vote for them is because they come off as extremely fake.
They claim they care about the dignity of migrants but then vote to keep the funding of the wall going and they increase the budget of deportation services.
They claim they care about diplomacy while showing an insane level of devotion to a country doing straight up hitlerian shyt in west asia.
They claim they care about black people while continuing to keep funding extremely racist police departments and folding to even the tiniest pressure from their unions.
They claim to care about the middle class but are always full of excuses for why they wont put a moratorium on home ownership for millionaires to cool the housing market or why they wont cut funding for police departments that arent actually preventing crimes.
They claim they care about fiscal responsibility but will never vote on budget cuts for the DOD.
I could go on and on. At least with Republicans theyre at the "fukk you, thats why" stage where they dont bother with trying to lie to the public in a convincing way or at all. Ironically people have more respect for the rat that behaves exactly like what it is rather than a rat that pretends its a squirrel.
