Bernie Sanders does not advocate government ownership of the entire economy. He only advocates government ownership of the most critical industries. We're already socialist when it comes to national defense. He advocates we do the same for healthcare.

This is erroneous. He advocates a single payor system which nationalizes who receives payment from consumers of healthcare, and who distributes the payments to the producers of healthcare services.

You can have a system where non of the hospitals are owned exclusively by the government and still be a socialist healthcare system. You can also have a system where all of the hospitals are exclusively owned by the government. The choice lies with the people; its not a take it or leave it game.

Also, the VHA, the largest healthcare system in the United States, is a nationalized, government owned and paid for system. Despite the negative reports, and congressional summons, and all that comes with partisan rhetoric, it's by far the best in the nation given it's scope.

They're going forty, fifty, sixty grand into debt for a career clocking thirty-five to forty-five a year in a real estate market that will eat up fifty or sixty percent of their income on housing alone. A quick perusal of Craigslist and Apartments.com will tell you about housing, Monster.com will tell you about the prospective job market in your chosen area, and the rest is basic goddamn arithmetic.

Penalizing success is not going to generate higher levels of competition to producer higher quality goods and services. On the fukking contrary, it'll just cause excessive breeding within a populace that lacks the brains and moxy to duplicate success and fortify the Empire.

Collectivism is for third world shytholes and nations lacking sufficient militaries and/or resources to either keep labor costs to a bare minimum, keep actual democratic participation by the idiotic serfdom at levels favorable to capitalists, or to prop up areas where the Empire needs to maintain a military presence against a competing Empire.

I am a millenial.

I work.

Entering the workforce only made me more acutely aware of exploitation and more class conscious, in a way that a more abstract understanding you get from studying at university cannot.

Not only that, but I know the actual definition of socialism (not the one erroneously posited in the article). And I support the bare-minimum reforms such as universal health care and the like, but also revolution and the liberation of the working class.

So article on all levels.
