What makes this generation different is advances in technology and ease of access to information. Even how news is gathered and sent to the masses has changed.
Not to mention things like climate change. People didn't have to deal with that in the 50's or 60's.

The millennials are the worst generation since the Baby boomers.
Generation Z is going to rise above and literally save this place, and they are conservative on pretty shocking level.

What liberals don't really understand is that while liberals celebrate hypergamy for women, tranny sex and spinsters in the workplace. Conservative families are actually pumping out kids like crazy. I have two kids and one more is coming. I know about a dozen 22-25 year Mormons (there are so many Mormons in finance right now). Nearly all of them have 3 kids or more at that age. 22-30 is the most biologically ideal age to rear children.
If political beliefs are largely affected by Genetics, which some preliminary research is showing, then the game is already sealed. Liberals are going to get outbred by conservatives. It's not going to take many generations for this to happen because of the purple-hairs and the pro-noun crowd. When I think about, I have two uncles that are afro-americans, but they are both hardcore republicans, and my dad was a Reagan supporter. My grandmother on my dad's side is a hardcore catholic. It makes sense that I would have some conservative leanings.
My kids are most likely going to be conservative.

As far as picking presidential candidates (Obama, Sanders) millennials are much greater than other demos (Hillary, Trump).
But they fall short in the down ballot and that's because they don't have the party loyalty other demos have. Obama could have fostered that after his historic win but he disbanded his movement in favor of the political elite.
