Continents looked different a million years ago,so the whole rewriting of the out of Africa is a mute point since our ancestors didn't do imaginary lines around territories and called then countries or continents, you found a place where you could hunt or scavenge, find shelter and if you ran into other groups it was either peaceful coexisting or you fought and the losers moved on. I am curious however how certain theories on ancient civilizations now have a better foothold to explore. I believe we are not the most advanced group of humans to ever exist. We are really advanced in manipulating certain forms of energy but as a civilisation, as natural spiritual beings we're still in the dark ages. If older civilisations had access to other forms of energy manipulation our techno ideologist hubris would get a much needed correction. We're are not as advanced as we think we are.

We relocated several particles of empty vessels. Deceived the human. And his intellectuals. He guessed, and surmised, his calculations are solid. And deeply planted is this analysis of things he knew not of. We hurried the elements with floods and winds. Burned the earth with brimstones. Darkened the different species. Bewitched the tongue of man to twitch in all types of angles producing sounds that rhymed only with a select group of peoples. The worlds continued. To worship. As we predicted. And how it was configured.

"The earliest known evidence for early Homo sapiens in Africa is 300,000 years ago, so it is tempting to conclude that our species might have evolved first in Asia."

Genetic diversity is highest in Africa so there is really nothing challenging the out of Africa theory. Where as Asians are largely homogenous. No amount of paleontology is going to beat DNA.

This is just another species of homo, likely Denisovan. Neanderthals and Denisovans did evolve earlier than humans.

Yeah, I wish newspapers would stop posting stuff like this before its peer reviewed and vetted because the speculation would be dismissed.

This was peer-reviewed
This was published in Science, that's a leading peer-reviewed journal, and it shows that the study has undergone strong peer review.
