Wait until Climate Change becomes a national emergency because its too hard to continue denying. Republicans are going to further delude themselves with all types of wacky conspiracy theories to deflect from the fact that their policies made the problem much worse than what it had to be.

Yup and its one of the fastest growing regions in the country. Its going to be a colossal failure on so many levels. You would think by now people would be more informed about what's coming down the pike. The US government has done an abysmal job at being open to the American public about how severe things are going to get, much to the credit of fossil fuel companies and their campaign of disinformation.

Online work. Keep trying to tell people too slow to see what's going on. An official "job" working for a company with no benefits and limited paid time off is falling behind.

This and alot of people not even retirement age who could afford to retire or realize they can retire with less did.
Covid made alot of people who were just obsessed with just grinding revaluate.
This. even though I retired before COVID I know a lot of people who just said fukk it after COVID.

Enforced stops to smell the roses incresed the likelyhood they would stop to smell the roses.

shyt really made people revavluate their lives.

This is reality for a lot of office workers:

I'm in the middle of a combination of: a 3-part interview, a 5-part interview, a 5-part + presentation and case study. All these positions are apparently desperate to hire, despite the ridiculous process they want to throw and how long it takes to get feedback. It's fukking maddening.

Yep. It's obvious that more than 1.1 million ppl died. Folks seem to forget that republican states admitted they were tweaking the death numbers at the height of covid. And those were the states where ppl refused to mask up or take precautions. It's probably 2 million or higher that actually died.

Florida wasn't even counting after while.

But it's not just covid deaths. many people retired. many are homeless or living with family. others started they own businesses where they have just enough income as they own "boss" that they are just fine with it.

older workers retiring is what people wanted and needed to happen for a long time.

Baby boomers had to go. They were well over a decade past retirement.

Plus a lot more people died in the pandemic than the recorded amount of deaths. A lot of red states literally denied the millions (more) people that died and said it was "natural." :mjpls:

Yep. The "Rise and Grind" culture unofficially died when the pandemic hit and the ass kissing workers that believed that working 2-3 jobs is the way all gotten killed from the virus. That made the other workers all :picard: and straight up changing everything they believed in.
