Mind over matter techniques?

Hey guys, wanted to start a thread about something that’s been bugging me. For people that are trying to have a goal to achieve that goal not limited to things like “weight loss, financial goals, education goals, eating healthy goals, work out routine schedule etc What are some techniques that you used to not fall off the wagon?

A lot of people don’t have any issue starting the process but many people have a hard time finishing what they sought out to do. Then you also have other people that finish what they start every single time and have no distractions in achieving the goals like listed above.

This thread is for those people, this will help other people that don’t have much will power to complete what they finish can learn a thing or two from the people that do.

What techniques do you use to complete your goals? More importantly what do you do in order to make sure sure that you’re not distracted/give up from completing them?

It’s difficult to put my finger on it, but I’d say I conjure up things first and then keep my eyes and ears (senses) open for changes in my environment and spirit that would indicate an opportunity for change...

The best advice I've been given is that success, determination and reaching goals is in no way glamorous. Its toil, blood, sweat & tears (tear up over sacrifice brehs:dame:) and it isnt fun a lot of the times

But what can help is meditation - having your decision making clouded by emotion is detrimental
Healthy eating also helps because if you put clean fuel in you'll get clean fuel out

But in the end, the best thing you can do for yourself in reaching goals are the shytty things that go into reaching those goals, day in & day out

What is the why? that is a key question

I just noticed that in life no matter what goal that you set for yourself seems like there’s always some reason to not succeed. And I noticed with certain people they succeed no matter what. So their mindset or something is different so I want to learn what are they’re doing different that isn’t being talked about. I figured maybe starting a thread would get people talking about it because it’s not one particular goal or the next go it’s everything goal in general. Some people achieve everything they set out to do those are the ones I’m trying to learn from.. But also other people achieve goals differently and that I want to learn from that as well. I figured this will help everyone in different ways.

What are some techniques that you use to be more organized mentally?
I really don't have any techniques, because I've been this way my whole life. My mind is like one big Excel spreadsheet.

But if I had to make name a key component, it would cleanliness for starters. Clean body, clean clothes, and a clean home contributes to a clean state of mind

I write down everything (sticky notes & Color note app) & compartmentalize major into things that can be automated into the near and distant future

That leaves me time to focus on the day to day week to week issues & dealings within my life and circle.

The enormity of any situation no longer stresses me out like it did in my teens and early'mid 20s.

As far as it comes to negativity, I am for the most part optimistic & positive but constantly reminding that THIS is all temporary to keep myself grounded with my arrow pointing upwards.
