Crazy how it was the ex-Ubisoft devs that made a great game. Can’t say the same about the other ex-devs.

• Ex-Dead Space devs = Callisto Protocol
• Ex-Banjo Kazooie devs = Yooka Laylee
• Ex-Bungie/Activison devs = Concord
• Ex-Rockstar dev = Mindseye
• Ex-Left 4 Dead devs = Back 4 Blood

The people that made Call of Duty what it became went on to form Respawn and they’ve done well.

And on top of that, no matter the quality of said game, people will ALWAYS be shytty about it and just drop the "gTa cLoNe" bullshyt on it.

Saint's Row/Volition had a nice lil lane til they shyt the bed along the way.
I think there is still a lane, especially for single player shyt with R* focusing on online. shyt like Mafia series.
I think someone should try to make a Scarface the world is yours successor and it would do decent. I think if the Godfathers series came back, it would do aight. GTA going ultra serious and some people just want a power fantasy of running a criminal empire and fukking ppl up.
The studio just gotta keep the budget in check and dont set out to just copy shyt in GTA. Double AA/Single A game type shyt
