First off let me educate you stupid nikkas here who know shyt about football or my Steelers...
  • For those of you who are saying we are going to have a puck in the 1st half of next years draft no nothing. I schedule gets decidedly easier after this week.
  • For those of you shytting on our D. Are you not watching the games. Our D is getting pressure. Both Haden and Nelson are playing great on film. Our safeties tho have fukked up considerably. Having Vince guard anyone was a mismatch. Bush is still learning but showed his athleticism. A great safety is everything for this D, just look at our history.
  • Now on Minkah...Let me go analytics for you dumb dudes. Among the 34 defensive players with 200 or more coverage snaps in the slot last season, he ranked first in completion percentage allowed (51.3%), first in passer rating allowed (53.4) and tied for ninth in coverage grade (76.7). Those are difference making stats. We need that at safety.
  • On Mason. See this goes to cosign me thoughts on never taking someone's football knowledge serious who doesn't respect/like watching preseason games. I've watched this dude develop. He's looked great. On Sunday for him to go from holding a clipboard to playing...he performed admirably and kept us in the game. He is our future. Can't wait to see all the pundits who can't see this dikk ride him in 6 months.
  • We are the Steelers, we dont fold, we dont go quietly in the night. We rebuild as we go. This is what separates my team who is constantly competitive to yours...

nikkas shut your dumbass up. :heh:

Bad trade for Pittsburgh imo. Even if Roethlesberger comes back fully healthy you gotta start planning for a future QB. In a year where Big Ben is out for the season why not tank and draft a qb.

They believe they already have him.

Mason easily out performed Dobbs in the preseason to win the backup job.

After Ben got hurt he came in and actually did very good. Threw two td’s and his int was not his fault. He hit Moncrief square in his hands. Perfect ball. He popped it up in the air and it got scooped. Steelers lost but it was not because of Rudolph

Very small sample so far so we will see. But he was drafted as potentially the heir apparent. Now he gets a chance to take it

Can't wait to see what transpires. Miami is basically rolling out the red carpet for Tua, so much so that I bet he has a say in how they construct the team. 150+ million in cap space and 14 projected picks in next year's draft, including five in the first two rounds. How do you say no to that?

Are you fukking kidding me

A 0-2 team who just lost their QB for the season traded away their 1st round pick? :dead:

For Minkah Fitzpatrick :mjlol:
desperate move but I wouldn’t ’t call it bad, they had to do something playing against a top 3 passing attack and baker twice, Tyler Boyd and Ross are putting up numbers too :mjcry:

I'll play.

1. Your schedule doesnt get easier. San Fran is hot, Cincy isn't as bad as people thought, Baltimore and LAC are top 10 teams. Yall then follow that up with LAR, three divisional games back-to-back, what should be an improved Kyler Murray, and end @ Baltimore.

2 & 3. A great safety may benefit your D but how often will Minkah play Safety? According to the analytics, he was great in the slot. Who's to say that he'll be great at FS? He was frustrated when we asked him to play more than one position. I wonder how that works in Pittsburgh.

Tua and Jerry Jeudy come on down:ahh:

They wouldn't have made this trade unless they believe Rudolph is that future QB. It could backfire and they could be wrong, but they've seen him every day for two years and they're sold.

I mean we haven't been able to develop a damn thing in the secondary so might as well trade for someone. Not sure how I feel about it being that we just lost Ben, are 0-2 and there's a good chance we would have had a high draft pick:patrice:
I doubt y’all would have drafted a qb so a top 5 pick isn’t necessary. When teams do this just look at it as your team just drafted dude. I’m a fan of the move but I don’t get the timing

Ramsey clearly gonna cost a lot. Pittsburgh liking going all in for the tank next year with Trevor Lawrence available.
