Im more with RC here :manny:

people are only up in arms because of the result, these plays happen way more often than you think. a lot of times, especially when safeties fly in, they are trying to tackle the runner by any means possible

sometimes you can control where you tackle, sometimes you cant.

dudes wanna say Ryan Clark said this only because hes a steeler, but Jason Mccourty said the same thing. defensive backs who played know this wasnt intentional.

Asking a DB was this a dirty hit is like asking the about pass inference calls. They gonna be naturally biased

And offensive players are biased as well... so what we finna do, ask kickers?

Most tackles in football are made when your only mentality is "stop that guy by any means".

I’m stating a fact. You can do whatever you wanna do with it
Lol ok

Just because it's a freak injury people will trust opinions of players who never were in the defenders position, more than opinions of players who made a tons of tackles, whose job it was to tackle players.

When I played tackle football as a corner I'd always go for the RB legs cuz Id get ran over often if I didn't. I didn't even have time to think whether or not someone was already slowing him down or not. I just dove and hoped to make the tackle or slow him down at the very least.

NFL players don't know how to tackle properly. Wild, out of control, and afraid of the offensive player.

This was completely avoidable if Fitzpatrick wasn't scared of a RB already engaged with the LB.

You see it every game, DBs already going low before the receiver even catches the ball, and sometimes before the receiver is even able to see him coming.

We wrap up better playing at the park. Hell, we just saw Xavier McKinney, a Safety for the Giants who is also playing for a big contract, get ran over by a QB at the goal line because he was scared to go head up or simply lacks technique. Shyt is embarrassing.
