The scary thing about this is (in a good way) is that people are rising up and showing pigs that they could overrun all their shyt any time they wanted. And cops can't do anything but sit back and realize they're no longer in control. That alone sets a precedent that they can't ignore. The longer this continues, the worse it gets for those in power.
