I know everybody feeling this today.

I can’t lie, I’m fortunate. My org cancelled staff meeting so we could have a forum to talk about it. Most people ain’t say shyt but i let them know what was what in terms of nobody better not weoponize MLKs words to say people need to protest differently.

It’s a shytty situation but the revolution ain’t a melting pot it’s a toilet bowl.. and the same visceral reaction many might have to their communities being “destroyed“ (all that shyt can be rebuilt) is the one we have we see brothers being lynched in 2020. it’s no different than we were lynched in early 20th century and people would be so sick as to take photos with the charred remains or strange fruit swinging from the poplar trees

i tried to get some work done afterwards but can’t focus. I know in many of my past jobs I would’ve have no forum and been forced to work like ain’t shyt happen.. I feel for brothers and sisters that gotta put up with the bullshyt this week
