Bro this shyt fukking with me. I finally watched the video and damn near broke down when he was begging them. Like I’m not good bro.

I know exactly how you feel breh. It took me almost a week to finally watch the video. I never planned on watching it at all, but that CNN special finally broke me. I'm glad I watched it because I feel I needed to see that evil, but damn I wish I didn't have to

The police unions act like the mafia. Untouchable and have more power and influence on rank and file police officers than the police commissioner. These unions needs to be disbanded.

This and often times are some of the most powerful unions in the state and country. They bully the mayors and governors because they have a group of people who vote or act in unison. So for example they don't like the mayor they will help vote him or her out. Or the mayor says something they don't like...well then they will reduce their policing.

Folks fail to realize how powerful these police unions are.

True....remember they played around with the case for a week. Then finally the governor pulled the case and gave it Ellison to make a decision on the charges. Hell by then it was protest all over america and the world plus riots.

1st degree murder requires premeditation. Unless you are alleging that the cops orchestrated the call by the deli workers that got them to the scene, I don’t see how you can make a case for 1st degree. No point yelling at the sky with unrealistic expectations. The focus now needs to be on convictions.

2nd degree is appropriate. He is a trained professional who knows what results from digging your knee into someone’s neck like that. And the fact that he maintained that position for several minutes after Floyd stopped moving and talking definitely indicates that he intended to kill him with that action.
If it's true that the cop and Floyd both worked together at the club, that very well could establish a basis.

Premeditation to my understanding doesnt have a specific time frame other than before the incident in question. There was quite a bit going on inside that cruiser before the knee to the neck. Also, lets be honest, before he placed the knee to the neck, you honestly dont think in the cops mind that this black man might die if he does it?

This aint that hard to prove.

I do think that the cop knew it could/would kill him. That’s what makes it murder. Otherwise it would be manslaughter. The difference between 1st and 2nd degree is premeditation. There’s nothing to indicate this was a premeditated attack.

Better to focus your energy on the other two cops holding him down. They should be charged with second degree murder as well. Not that bs aiding and abetting charge. They physically helped Chauvin commit the act of murder. Only the Asian cop is reasonably limited to the aiding and abetting charge imo.
