I'm just saying this. For better or worse. It doesn't take much to make thins difficult for the military. Regular people with rifles and IEDs were able to give our troops hell in Iraq and basically cause us to lose control over the area. Guerilla warfare from virtually untrained farmers in Vietnam caused us to lose that war as well. And those were both battle spaces that we cared a lot less about damaging than the United States.

Insurgency is an very effective means of combating major military operations.

the Coalition whooped the Iraq armies ass in less than 2 months, and the Viet Cong were virtually eliminated by the end of the Tet Offensive, North Vietnam had to take the reins and they were a professional army trained by the Soviet.

And even they couldnt take the South until the US withdrew .
