i thought the thread title said 'minnesota cops' not cacs at first lol

krispy kreme is only good for about 3 minutes out of the fryer. and like someone else said that shyt is basically straight dough and sugar

room temp krispy kreme is no longer good. you gotta get it fresh fresh and even then...

The same thing happens here. Every time a new fast food place opens up around here the people go crazy and wait in line the first day.

We had a Raising Canes open up for the first time and the parking lot looked like early 2000s BestBuy on Black Friday.

All that for some chicken tenders and some crinkly cut fries:childplease:

I remember when one opened here years ago they we're camped out like they we're waiting for concert tickets.

. . .they do that shyt when "In-N-Out Burger" opens up in a new region . . . .

"Many customers camped overnight in the parking lot on Tuesday, hoping to be the first to taste the legendary burger, while others waited for hours in the lengthy drive-thru line, which stretched over two miles during the lunchtime rush on Wednesday."

I never been to Minnesota but it’s cacs seem to be mostly goofy but good nature based on this and their governor Walz.

:yeshrug:

Unless you want that opinion seriously altered, my advice is don't go out there for any type of extended stay. Nice people (especially when you first meet them), don't get me wrong, but there's a lot of mental illness and related fukkery going on out there. The racism is there, but not in a "I want to kill you" sense, but more in a "We're cool so it's ok to say these things, eh bud?" way. It's really goofy but obviously off-putting. The real aggression exists within this perpetually simmering hatred a lot of them have brewing way below the surface for each other and anyone who gets to know them long enough. I've never seen friends and communities so quick to turn on each other over the slightest difference. For example, just converting from one branch of Christianity to another could have your entire block giving you the cold shoulder. Stupid grievances like that. A lot of it fueled by alcoholism, drug use, and weird personality based mental illneses.

I could go on and on about them but I'll put it succinctly like this: I LOVE the state of Minnesota and the big influence it's had on my life the past 8 years. The land and nature there are breathtaking and ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for an outdoorsman. Minnesotans, on the other hand, for the most part can suck a bag of dıcks.

Sometimes i wish i had enough money to just perpetually open up "new" business around white midwesterners. In Kansas City, you could make a quick killing just opening up places from the coasts temporarily then just constantly repeating that process.
