Minnesota is usually like that because parts of minnesota, and most of minnesota...is NORTHWEST of Southern Ontario.
Same with Upper Peninsula Michigan. I'm in Northern Ontario right now and the biting cold I experienced in Minneapolis due to a faulty Northface zipper...will never be matched.
