Minus Halo's Multiplayer, What Game was Better: Metroid Prime or Halo?

Let me start my staying I never played Halo, so I can't argue Prime is better.

I just been playing the remastered version of Prime on the Switch and it's a great game.

I'm wondering to the people who've played Both Prime and Halo which did they feel like was better, but only if you could judge Halo as a 1 player game?

I'm sure the multiplayer mode would give the edge to Halo, but is Halo's 1 player mode as fun as prime?

I'm on the same boat as you only played halo multiplayer at peoples houses but I haven't played prime in over 20 yrs and I still remember the experience it gave. It actually captured the the vibe of super Metroid in 3d and you actually felt like you were exploring an alien planet.

If its just the SP, you go either or. Both are immaculate releases and probably the best ones of their respective trios.

Prime is a far better exploratory experience. Halo has far better combat. Both games still feel great so many years after their release.

I lean to Halo 1 for the fighting, but it is the slimmest of margins.

Yeah this is a good synopsis. I think I barely give it to Halo. People forget how much high praise Metroid Prime got on release..it was nabbing 10s from every major outlet. Really beautiful game too. I think it was the best selling entry in the series until Dread came out..and Dread really only outsold it because the Switch's install base is massive.

If we go trilogy vs trilogy, Halo wins by a wider margin.

I Got stuck on the screw attack boss on MP2, never finished it

Never played MP3.

Beat Halo 3, I wouldn't say it was better than any MP experience but it was fine.

Obviously never owned a OG xbox or wii.

Only played Halo 2 MP

MP2 had a Lan multiplayer. It was cool when I tried it a few times but who would you play that shyt with
