Just got caught up the story. Was very hard reading it.

The Coli associated nonsense about him and his image is par for the course, though. Laughing at, & trivializing Black death, and enslavement happens all the time here. None of it is funny.

Also, Black Twitter and Black internet could devote time/space to cover missing Black people, if the content creators were so inclined. Wouldn't even have to be daily. Twice a week, post it in between coverage of the entertainment stories. Young people get most of their information from the Internet now, and not tv/cable news broadcasts.

That’s why this hoopla over ‘missing white woman syndrome’ is a farce because black people perpetuate it as well. We should be accountable to our own first. We have the power to make things trend. If we were accountable to our own, we can make things trend without waiting on white people to do it for us. The problem is that most of us don’t care but will posture when white people make it known that they don’t care either.
