Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Republicans are very crafty people and understand the techniques of brainwashing.

Most of their states are failed states and even in their successful states it’s only the large cities doing well.

For example Republican only speak about North Carolina, Texas and Florida, Arizona the most but sort of ignore the rest of the red states (we know why)

The same republicans aren’t telling you that rural parts of Texas are seeing population decline and they are taking over large Texas cities more so than California people.

I learned about Republican techniques in school. They are very crafty and sadly most Americans just listen and believe everything that comes out of their mouth.

Republicans talk about NY, Illinois and Cali all day but are silent about Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama

This is true

But politically why would they criticize their colleagues in Congress or fellow republican governors for their failures and potentially turn a state red to purple?

You would maybe see it in a republican primary down there but that's about it.

Another thing the Repubs are well aware of is the reverse migration of Black folks moving back to the south and how that would change voting demographics. They saw that trend and were quick to redraw them voting districts.

As someone that's spent a considerable amount of my adult life in both, I'll give my perspective.

My quality of life has always been better when I lived in a "red" state.

I was a renter in a Blue state. In a Red state I was able to own property with my mortgage being less than what my rent previously.

My taxes are always lower when I live in a red states. So I generally get to keep more of what I earned.

Even things like getting my car registered and passing safety and emissions is much easier when I live in red states. Less regulations.

The majority of all the nations HBCUs are in red states. So if you want to live and raise your family among Black professionals it's often a better option.

Gas prices are cheaper in red states.

I feel generally safer in red states because I'm able to arm myself without fear of catching a felony.

The food, women and weather are more culturally aligned with what I enjoy.

Regardless of race. The people are nicer and more community oriented in red states.

The downside of living in some red states are regressive cannabis laws, liquor stores being closed on Sundays, and in some case's insurance premiums have been higher (the downside of more lax regulations). And the pro Amerikkka pro Jesus rhetoric can be annoying especially if you weren't raised around it. And they be having snakes and terrible storms which I hate.

It all comes down to what you value.

I've been THRU Mississippi on my way to Alabama but never really BEEN there. Imma say this again: Once you get to Alabama, the roads turn into a Nascar 500 race but in the Sipp? :usure:

EVERYBODY slows down and you can sense the apprehension. At least on I-20. Idk about the rest of the state but I don't fukk around when I'm passing thru.
