What would you like the CBC to do about a state legislature voting on and passing a measure? No statements but actual action? What can federal lawmakers do?
The mayor of the city and a member of that state legislature spoke directly to RMU in a video posted in this thread. The mayor said on camera, that the current head of the EPA (A Black man) released MILLIONS of dollars to Jackson to build up their water infrastructure, and he feels that the state is trying to grab those millions, and that this current move is consistent with the money/power grab play that they're running on his city.
