you say this while typing this from america.

i dont think you realize how foolish and full of hot air you look

Im living in an apartment building thats a fire hazard. But I have an escape route, and moved into the apartment on the first floor so its easier to get out. Your on the top floor telling me to shut up,and stop putting flyers out to warn people since I still live in the building. Awareness can never be foolishness. Maybe someone of more means gets the message and makes the move more expeditiously than I can. Ive only ever said prepare to leave the country. You tell people we could be headed back into Jim Crow while never once telling them prepare to leave America. So i can only wonder what foolishness you have in store:respect:?

Huh?

I don’t even know what this means.

As I mentioned, I’m not opposed of this. Aframs ( I can’t speak for anyone else) are too invested in acts of grandeur instead of mobility. This seems to be a step (at least in terms of finding employment) in the right direction
You been here 10 years and don't know alt accounts

If we put things into proper perspective, White men have been claiming everything by èverybody. It gets confusing.
It's their culture and tradition.

Anything of value, has to be attributed to them wholesale or the mighty Whites will be embarrassed they didn't invent or discover something before a non white.
We all have to play along to coddle fragile and jealous White hearts and minds at our own expense.

For such a high and mighty, supremely gifted race of people they sure are passionate about erasing Black people legacy..if Black history is so useless why not leave it alone, why does it bother them so much?? But we know the answer to that.

They dont fear black history,as it would be taught it isnt some powerful tool. They are coming after every group they feel is overstepping our bounds in "their country". Black culture is too in your face and influential so that gotta go. The LGBT is loud and bold, they gotta get checked. Women are louf and have too much power and influence, they need to be put back into submission. Everything white men are doing is a reminder.

Outside of leaving the country our gaining soveignty and staying lowkey in america. Anything else will require God himself:respect:

Black Self-Sufficiency
"White does not have the authority to regulate education funding, but the state legislature often uses reports from the auditor to evaluate government spending and weigh potential budget cuts. The auditor studied political science and economics at the University of Mississippi and was a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University in the United Kingdom."

Ok he does not have the power to make the decisions, but the legislature will be influenced by him. Mississippi is a heavy Republican state, even though the demographics of the state is 58.8% White and 37.8% Black. It also has a history of voting lockstep with Alabama, which is another heavy Republican state. See, this audit is an internal State Affair. Unless you are a member of the state and have the numbers to back your position, you will not be able to stop them from controlling their own public university budget. Those Universities are state funded, and so they are under the purview of that state's government.

So, what can any of us do outside of the state to influence it? We can only make suggestions on moving out of the state. That is all you can do. Unless you are an actual resident of the state, you have no power over their decisions that are wholly controlled by the state's government. Since the majority of people no matter their ethnicity are not going to go to college, the majority will not see the changes affecting them at all. You are not going to get the average person in Mississippi to be politically riled up about this issue. So as a non-citizen of Mississippi, working yourself up over it will not change anything and will only add to your own stress about an issue you have no power to control.

Learn to fight battles you have a chance of actually winning instead of worrying about ones you have no chance of affecting. Also, stop trying to use every issue that happens as some segway into attacking other Black people. It really is an immature action, especially when you are attacking people of our own race about an issue the vast majority of us have no power to control. It demonstrates a bit of mental weakness, when your first impulse upon hearing what some outsider is doing that you consider repugnant as an excuse to attack some of your own people.

Normally I will shyt on this usual right wing talking point but there is something to be said about someone getting an AfAM degree while starting life with 100K in debt.
The degrees should not be allowed to cost that much to obtain. There are people in their 40s and 50s still paying college loans ..how can they get ahead?

anthropology? :dahell:
Anthropology has been a right wing target for almost 100 years. American anthropology tradition is strongly influenced by Franz Boas who was one of the biggest and most successful opponents of race realism and cultural/racial determinism pre WWII. When the right screams about cultural relativism or cultural Marxism and whines about race realism being sidelined from the mainstream, a lot is due to him and his influence on anthropology which was super racist before him. He was also the graduate adviser for Zora Neale Hurston.

From another thread..

The whole premise of the article is wrong in that it asserts that the aim of higher education among black people was to close the wealth gap.

WEB Dubois asserted in the Souls of Black Folks -

“If we make money the object of man-training, we shall develop money-makers but not necessarily men; if we make technical skill the object of education, we may possess artisans but not, in nature, men. Men we shall have only as we make manhood the object of the work of the schools—intelligence, broad sympathy, knowledge of the world that was and is, and of the relation of men to it—this is the curriculum of that Higher Education which must underlie true life. On this foundation we may build bread winning, skill of hand and quickness of brain, with never a fear lest the child and man mistake the means of living for the object of life…”

The article has misdirected the aim of higher education making money it’s object and not the attainment of manhood.

I’m not against this

The optics are off, but his position is legit. In terms of bolstering degrees that kids can leverage is a win in my book
They need to invest into education.....real education.......not dumbing down and then attempting to eliminate free thought at the college level....... trying to mitigate educated blacks fleeing that shyt hole state
