What? Did you mean to find a picture of Reagan?

No. You have to understand that this single signing of legislation is what kick started and brought about the rise of Reagan, technically Nixon beforehand, and why all the talk of "big government, nanny state, overreach" transpired. When crackers realized they had to compete with us, they ditch the Democrats for the Republicans, and out of the wood work all the talk of reducing government and how it operates began there. That's really all it is. They don't want black faces getting basic ass gigs, let alone high positions of power. Then add women and immigrants to the mix and that fear has doubled, highly.

Oh, okay, understandable. I thought you were saying LBJ was responsible for slashing social safety nets because he was the complete opposite, in fact a decent chunk of nets we have today come from under his presidency, and that probably wouldn't have happened if, and no offense, if JFK didn't die.

But I mean, most of the approach goes to Friedman, Reagan was just the perfect puppet for all of that.

they know a homeless person isn't gonna have $750.

i feel this is also racial. black people make up nearly half the homeless population
Yep, and i saw a news story about man who got arrested for illegally building a shack in the woods. So they literally can't live anywhere without breaking the law if you homeless.

Cacs used to use "vagrancy" laws to lockup Black folks and lease out their labor to corporations.

I hope no one is cheering this on.

All this. Also this is straight up white supremacy and capitalism rolled up into one. Since THEY can't make any money off homeless folks in the capitalistic system with them being consumers. THEY say the hell with it lock them up so that money can be made off of them with tax payers dollars and / or having them in jail doing jobs for pennies on the dollar salary wise.

The people running the country are mentally sick and psychopaths.

I can attest to this comment as I'm working with a client now that complain that their reduced revenue is due to Joe Biden and his criminal reform plans and the closing of private prisons :mjpls:

I'm not taking anything. My employer is. I don't even want to work with the client after reading the email, but I have no choice in the matter. I've had to do work for Trump Industries, but I didn't have a choice in the matter as I keep political issues out of the workplace. I believe one of my co-workers knew what they were doing anyways when they passed the work on to me to do :mjpls:

Zero smoke for the people responsible for the homelessness though right?

“We cannot afford to work here.”

I think this sums up the issue perfectly. Certain company’s business model is based on paying employees less than a living wage (minimum wage), and extracting profits from the difference of the product/service produced and underpaying employees. When employees found wages unsustainable they quit and were quickly replaced. And so it went.

But the current labor shortage has exposed the giant flaw in Starbuck’s business model. The company can no longer easily replace the workers but neither still can the workers afford to live. Since the company refuses to raise prices, or reduce profits, to pay more the employees must either leave or strike

Meanwhile, inflation and gas prices skyrocketing.

Same dude these workers have a problem with was begging for people to go back into the office here:

That's only Starbucks, but most of these companies are doing the same.

Like we said in the other thread with that 14 year old kid airing out the system, there are only a few hundred maybe a thousand or so people (CEO's and politicians) responsible for this whole mess.
