I'm not sure I agree with that.
yeah same...
We soldered, built robots (still have 2 of mine), built logic boards, measured frequency with vco's, coded with machine language, etc all in lab.
And this was at Vanderbilt, which is not known for its engineering prowess (more of a medical/law school really)
But I'm supposed to believe that engineering students at MIT didn't do shyt in lab?

This video is propaganda, these were probably the only people that had any trouble with this. I bet the rest of them did it in 10 seconds.
I went to U of I-Urbana, top 5 in CompE/EE in the nation, and we didn't do any soldering.
