Outstanding win

Champagnie hit clutch shots
HB was great all game (people gotta start respecting him. He's been playing the PF position but he's still a very useful wing. Kinda like what Michael Finley was for SA)
Wemby came alive in the 2nd half
Keldon battled with Steven Adams and kept him off the boards
Castle played tough D
Jordan McLaughlin was good for the most part (that 3rd quarter end was terrible tho)
Fox back tomorrow

Sochan getting benched in the 4th def helped as well.

yeah, mitch was done after that last travel. I was saying the "random observations" thread that Sochan's offensive makes him unplayable in the halfcourt. Unless he gets some putbacks or dunks/layups in transition, he can't reliably score. He's a self-check on offense. And the Spurs did well defensively without him.

Aye shoutout to KJ too this season. Breh irritates tf outta me season in, season out but he has been consistent as hell so far this year, crashing the glass like a fiend. Love to see it.

When he doesn't have to be a key guy but a true role player, he's at his best. And he def is the heart and soul of the team.

Good win.
Still, Castle with another 5 turnovers tonight.

This sloppiness cannot continue.

Wait there is hate against castle? The guy was literally rebounded, the turnovers against him were hustle play :picard:
He's amazing as an attacker. The only thing that's lacking is true PG skills. He gets caught jumping while passing a lot, and his handle is a little loose for a lead guard trying to make decisions re attacking vs facilitating. I don't take the criticism as hate, but it's more so pushback against the portion of the fanbase that was ready to trade Fox after the 5-0 start. Can't wait to see what this team looks like tonight in his return.

Castle has been turnover prone but he and harper are the only guys on the roster who can reliably handle the ball and run an offense. He a second year guard forced into playing the point because of injuries go find me somebody who fits that bill and doesn't turn it over a ton. With Fox back he won't have it as much and even less when Harper gets back. He is ideally a secondary ball handler pressed into being a primary one. Will be fine now that Fox is back.
