We winning 70 with him5 - 0 without Sochan
His shot selection has been so much better so far in the preseason. I think he only took like 10 3's during the 5 games, he could probably average 30 this year
I saw a projection of 40 wins for the Spurs this season.
That’s bordering on a playoff spot.
If Wemby stays healthy I think we know what we will get out of him.
The concern remains the same. What will his supporting cast do?
This cannot be a team where Wemby is scoring 27 and his teammates all average 15 and below. This isn’t 2001 where you could get away with Duncan and a bunch of bums.
I have a fear that the Spurs will look a bit like the Knicks with KAT and Brunson…where you have 2 players who can drive the offense (Wemby and Fox) and if they’re having an off night the team looks like shyt.
We need something significant out of Castle/Harper/Vassell

.Castle and Harper will be fine. All Devin needs to do is make open shots.

The point is, that Knicks team was super top heavy and flawed. And I would rather the Spurs construct a far more balanced roster.
