:stopitslime: Somebody bring up all those BS All Star Appearances Ray Allen has had due to injuries. Give me Mitchy Rich, and :blessed: at him getting a ring with the Lakers. :smugbiden:

The Rock , Mitch Richmond.

Yeah, he played for some BAD Kings teams :snoop: but dude came to play everynight and the league noticed. Jordan himself said no one else defended him better. I still got the poster of him getting the '95 All-Star MVP.

Ray Ray had more of a support staff to play with. Although he got the better looking shot, Richmond is better player to build your team around.

Even though he got that ring with that suspect 2002 Laker team, he deserved to go out with a championship.

Take away the hall of fame teammates and they play in the same amount of playoff games.

Do you know what empty stats are? On a bad team somebody has to score some points. Ray scored while playing next to "hall of fame teammates" if you wanna call Glenn Robinson and Rashard Lewis "hall of fame teammates".

That's why Mitch Richmond went from averaging a respectable 16 ppg for a 19 win Washington team 4 ppg on a championship Laker team. He probably could have put up at least 14 that year on a garbage squad but when surrounded by talent we see why this nikka never carried anybody anywhere.

i've been a mitch richmond stan from time but i'd probably begrudgingly go with ray because i think you can plug him into different roles and different systems better than you could with mitch. i think he's a bit more versatile that way. so, given that there isn't that much of a gap between them as players, i guess i'd pick jesus for that reason.

was an avid basketball fan back when Mitch was playing but I swear I never saw him play....ever. I recall reading a SI piece on him declaring him the second best SG in the league behind obvi, obvi.....but I was always a Clyde The Glide fan.

I don't even know that I know what Mitch looks like at this point. Run TMC was cool though.

I remember Mitch on them wizards squads in the late 90's. I guess that defense y'all boasting about must been on showcase in his sacrosanct days because he was average at best on defense ( and that's been generous) in dc.

Ray Allen a decent defender when he wants to be. He was the only player in the starting lineup who would play defense on those George Karl bucks teams

LOL @ having both of them as champions on there though... Mitch contributed NOTHING to that Lakers chip, meanwhile nobody would have batted a lash if Ray Allen had been named Finals MVP of that series.
