Most people are mixed. Saying someone is black or white says NOTHING about their background. It is only a description of their skin color.

its not rocket science. If I look at someone and they appear to be black, I would assume there black. thats just my ignorance. my mistake.

Describing someone as black or white IS basin it on how people look. Again black or white is just a description of a persons skin color.

Saying ur black when one of your parents is white is just saying that ur skin is black. You should learn about and embrace both of your parents cultures but that still doesn't change your physical appearance, which we here in America describe as black or white.

First of all, slavery is not exclusive to Black-Americans, there were many on the continent that were enslaved as well.

Second of all, there's no such thing as a pure "African'(Africa is a continent), but there is a pure Black person and I qualify as such.

Lastly, I will hope I'm in a position that I don't need some "benevolent" bi-racial person to have to save me. That is why I take the positions and stances I take. Black people all over the world need to position themselves so that they never fall victim to what our ancestors fell victim to. We should be powerful enough that we are never rounded up and hoarded off like animals again.

Break it down for me. How is being "pure" Black different than being "pure" African? How have you determined that you qualify? Were your ancestors Black American slaves or not?

I don't want to jump to any conclusions but this is seeming like a smart dumb nikka position unfolding.

Unless you know your whole family history, I'm talking all of it, you are not even black in your own eyes. There are some Africans who have white in them too. There's no need for you to speak on black subjects if you can't even prove that you're black under your own qualifications.
