What's funny about the one blood drop rule is that historically it doesn't apply to Egyptians and other Northern Africans, Italians and other Southern Europeans. In 2012 if you have any black blood in you then you are 100% black (which makes no sense) but in the past you could only be black if you were West African. In 2012 you are only white if you are pure white but in the past if you had any white in you you were white. Sorry but if we go by today's standard the Greeks and Romans weren't white. shyt is so inconsistent.

it is a perception that impacts how blacks are treated in a white-dominated society.so, whether or not it's technically accurate, mixed -- black/white -- people are black. they will be treated as black. they will suffer the same stigma of being black that a full black person deals with everyday.
