when you're a college graduate that needs a job and can't find one cause the market is so shytty you need 4 years experience to land an entry level job you gotta blame someone.

For blacks in the U.S. it all states back to the One Drop rule.

if a person had "one drop" of black blood, they were forbidden to pass as white.

They are technically mixed, but that's just how it is

A lot of blanket assumptions going on in the video, I only agree with the mixed is not black by principal, the rest of the video dude was reaching.

One drop rules were state laws, not federal.

I've mentioned this before in the "Is Obama black" discussion. Some argue that according to the one drop claim he would be, however the problem is that in Hawaii where he was born, there was no such rule. However had he been born in Lousiana he would have been.

To my understanding there isn't a hard and set law to it, and funny enough some cases I believe the mother's race is what legally defines the child's race.
