it's easier for mixed breeds to assimilate to white culture period; but what does that have to do with what i asked you? do you consider them black as well?
So what part of race being a social construct and not a scientifical one, don't you get? Is it easier for biracial people who look like those women to pass and escape from being classified as black? Obviously. Does that mean that we should shun them if they consciously choose to classify themselves as black? No.

reading some of these responses you'd think dudes would want to round up half-black/half-white peeps and make an official, brand-new cultural classification for them to "reduce confusion" 
The fact that somebody would compare mixing races to mixing colors on a palette speaks volumes...nikkas are too obsessed with skin color when the "one-drop rule"/mulatto incidents teach us that color don't mean shyt next to heritage and upbringing.

Same people playing into the idea of mixed people not being black are the same people who probably don't understand/know that they are enacting the same racist ideas of slave masters, personally doing the work of white supremacy themselves.
Trying so hard to separate black people, playing into white ideology. More "pure" blacks, shunning those who look mixed is the equivalent of field slaves and house slaves (a distinction made by skin color) shunning each other. Neither party will ever be fully accepted by white people, but both groups are too damn dumb to unite in numbers to get anything done to change their place in society for their own needs.
Divide yourselves if youd like, you're only furthering your societal regression.

The whole idea of mixed not being black really came from middle class white women not wanting Thier kids with black men to be treated the same as Thier fathers. The idea of what a mixed person looks like is also funny.

Every other country on the planet gives mixed people their own category.... America didn't because of its racist history. These conspiracy negroes are too much. I'm really starting to think black people want to claim mixed people because black people always want to claim how "mixed" they are so they want to keep mixed people as black so they can have some "exotic" ness about them.
