Kay Slay and Whoo Kid ruined Saigon's music for me. I swear they were both losing their minds on his mixtapes with the gunshots and yelling for no reason.

I could be wrong, but Texas mixtapes did not have Dj's yelling and doing all of that unnecessary bullshyt.

You are correct lol. I don't at all remember anybody yelling over Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, etc tapes. You may get a "D J MICHAEL WATTS" followed by some scratches, but that's pretty much it.
