Kobe got locked up by Tony Allen and Tayshaun prince nikka please

neither one single covered kobe. billups was on SVP and Russillo yesterday and admitted the Pistons strategy in 2004 was to double/triple team kobe and leave shaq in single coverage knowing this would frustrate kobe and instead od making the right basketball play, he'd keep attacking their double teams.

Lebron has to be the Cavs main passer, rebounder, and scorer every time he step on the court. Kobe and Mj never been that.
Kobe and Mj never had a team as bad as this cavs in the finals.

Lebron scored 41 in the first 3 games, so scoring 20 pts (along with 12 rebounds, and 8 assists) doesn't change the fact he's been amazing in the finals

He's not even leading his team in rebounds this series :beli:

Mike led the team in points/assists and was 2nd in rebounds in the 91 and 97 finals.

Then stop saying he's a machine.

My expectation is he's the best basketball player in the planet. I expect him to be the best basketball player on the planet night in and night out. I don't tailor my expectations becuz he's tired or had a bad game. He's still supposed to be the best player in the league.

LMAO, I saw that yesterday. Bron vs Curry. Bron did not back him down, I can't believe that shyt. :scust:

His reluctance to back down pgs always stems from the fact they call a charge on him most times.

They called it against him a lot in that Mavs series. They also called a few times when Rondo would defend him when they played the Celtics.

I remember in that game 6 against the Spurs when Tony Parker flopped. shyt had Bron feeling uneasy about posting him late in the game when he had that turnover.

Its essentially the Shaq effect when he would be guarded by smaller skinnier players and they would call a charge more times than when he was guarded by someone bigger.

Exactky..... Barea was flipping like a fish whenever Lebron backed him down. The thing is jokers would flop on shaq back in the late 90s and early 2000. But would not get the call from the refs. Then as new rules changes in the game came the league took away the physicality in the post and kats would get that flop call more often.

Also the refs penalize lebron for being strong. Big dudes such as aldrige and Dirk rarely get the flop offensive foul calls. Yao was the same way folks would flop on him and the refs would give him garbage offensive fouls.

Did Mike run the offense and create the offense for everyone? Or did Pippen not exist? Was Mike playing 46 minutes a game in those finals?

Much of Jordan assist in this finals came off of double teams and kicks to paxon, BJ, Kukoc, Harper and Kerr. He was not running offense or bringing the ball up the court.

Nobody really ran the offense, it was pure triangle system.

Why you caping so hard for Bron today my man?

Triple teamed in both series.

They played a zone where Kobe would catch it and it would be single coverage then when he put the ball down and attacked the double would come.

The last star that was truly doubled was shaq in 2006. The Mavs actually had two defenders next to him even when he didn't have the ball. That is why Wade ate them up.
