Swag has nothing to do with hyper masculine bravado bruh. Its an aura of confidence that you convey to those around you. You arent gonna find black swagger in a dictionary. Kendrick Lamar has seag and he aint a thug.
thisssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While I agree, it adds fuel to the fire....no example of a BM and BW making it work at home and then we alienate each other at school

Most get over it but many don't
it works both was though. dont act like some nerds dont alienate themselves from other blacks or look down on people who don' share their interest.

They are developing kids so I can't blame then.

We have to ask why our boys go after the caricature esque built girls and the black girls favor the jocks and thugs

I mean all races do but we don't seem to have an acceptance of ordinary or nerdiness that the other races do

true.
i think as kids they are usually the first kids to go through puberty thats why we pay so much attention to them.
i think they get ignored by black girls because we may assume he isnt interest in black women?

well thats when our definition of nerd needs to be clear.
but i used to think the dudes that kept to themselves and didnt talk to the girls at school did so because they werent interested. it never crossed my mind that they may have been just as shy and awkward as me.

when you alienate yourself from your community, it leaves less common ground.
alot of the nerds i knew growing up were deep in white culture so i figured they liked white girls too.

You mean liking comic books and stuff?

If that's what you mean then yeah, they'll obviously have more white and Asian friends who are into that. Cause let's be honest, MOST black kids don't wanna talk about anime, technology, or anything of the sort that much.

I think not being able to like whatever you like without being put in a box is a bigger problem that needs to addressed more tbh

im just being honest though.
i like anime and all that stuff i just wasn't into it heavy enough to connect with the real anime heads.
i wasnt a nerd or a cool kid, just somewhere in the middle, an inbetweener if you will.
if someone reaches out you gotta meet them somewhere.

Most Black men and women have very narrow interests. If your interests are beyond the narrow scope of acceptable Black interests, you run the risk of being alienated.

That's the fukked up part about Black culture. It doesn't embrace visionaries and people who think outside the box. We're a community of followers. It's why our kids don't take interest in obscure shyt and turn it into billion dollar industries for Black people. They think they have to be into hip hop, hooping and other stereotypical shyt.
