I'll be honest. I prefer barefoot height. Yes I know basketball is played in shoes but it gives me context to know that without shoes Tre Johnson is the same height as Jordan and Kobe.

That being said. I also look at wingspan and standing reach to get a concept of how big someone is. Like Dwade or Harden might be short but are effectively bigger. With Jordan's length I'm sure he's effectively bigger.

He has has always been the same height as Charles Barkley and Kobe Bryant which is "6'4" and a half. His real height has been shown in the Olympics for years. Bird, Magic, Pippe, Mullins, Drexler, Karl Malone, David Robinson, Wayman Tisdale, Patrick Ewing and Shaq are also shorter than their listed heights.
