MJ real height isn’t close to 6’6”

This has been known for years I thought. I remember a few years ago when they started relisting players in their barefoot height. But I think they have started going away from that again the past couple of seasons.

wikipedia is saying 7ft but i swore I heard he was really 6'9.
he looks significantly smaller than Robinson in some pics who I think was a legit 7ft

Hakeem was 6'10 during his playing days. I don't even know where the 7' came from, because they used to say 6'10 during games. So was Zo.

But most of these older players have probably shrunk 1-2 inches since their playing days.

there was also an interview that dean smith had with charlie rose in 1993 where he talked about jordan. that he came in at 6'3 and grew two inches before his sophomore year. then he supposedly measured 6.45 at the 84 olympics and i saw one from 92 that had him at 6.488. there was also a nba video game when he didnt allow his likeness to be licensed that had a fake jordan listed at 6'4.

He has has always been the same height as Charles Barkley and Kobe Bryant which is "6'4" and a half. His real height has been shown in the Olympics for years. Bird, Magic, Pippen, Mullins, Drexler, Karl Malone, David Robinson, Wayman Tisdale, Patrick Ewing and Shaq are also shorter than their listed heights.

At the 92 Olympics I remember seeing Bird and Magic being measured at "6'7". Pippen and I think Drexler were "6'5".

I don't know where to find those heights online, but that is what I remembered reading along with Ewing and David Robinson being "6'11".
