Kawhi told his friends he thinks he can play Christmas day.
Obviously this could mean that he may be back on the court by the weekend or early next week. I doubt he'd be back in time for Christmas, although it would be a nice gift.

Yeah, I'd rather him have the surgery now, come back in March and have a month and a half to get into game shape for the playoffs
