So it comes down to being a good "superhero" game

As I said, without the batman stuff it's just an ok GAME.

As a game, the mechanics are merely serviceable and not really worth experiencing more than once.

Take out the soundtrack, licensed cars and open world from Forza Horizon and it'll just be a merely serviceable car game not worth experiencing more than once.

Replace Eddie Murphy from Coming to America nad it's a merely average movie

The combat system is way better than any of the hack and slash games that were brought up earlier. The system in arkham allows the player to be creative and not get bored by pressing the same buttons over and over again.Beat em up style is old brehs...

Nope. The handling, and overall gameplay mechanics are still top notch, which is the most important. If the gameplay wasn't good, the soundtrack and liscensed cars wouldn't mater.

It's cool to watch, but from a gameplay perspective it's shallow as hell. It's almost like QTE
