I don't listen to the radio, watch BET/MTV/VH1, or keep-up with current music like I did when I was a teenager. The only way I keep-up with current music nowadays is listening to the "Where's My 40 Acres" podcast & the album/mixtape reviews on the site, watching certain award shows (the BET Awards, MTV Music Video Awards, & the Grammys), and if I notice certain songs getting played all the time on TV Shows, movies, or commercials.

On the low, dude had a hell of a run when he first came out. His first 3 singles were produced by J.R. Rotem (think he had Kingston signed to Beluga Heights) and his streak of singles did really well on pop radio. "Beautiful Girls" was a platinum number 1 single, "Me Love" did well, and "Take You There" was hot...all off his first album. I was never a fan, but I remember hearing all of his shyt repeatedly when I was in school and going, "Wait a minute. Is this dude still on his first album? He's quietly getting it."
After that though...
The song he has out with Breezy and Wiz is cool though. People always hit the floor when they play it in the club.

Yeah I remember those hits from his 1st album, but I never cared about him. He just seemed like a 1-album wonder. Dude was never gonna last. How is he supposed to compete when most singers (male & female) are supposed to be attractive, while he a fat dude out here?
