The Vancouver Canucks send Chris Higgins to the AHL. These vets seeing sad ends to their careers in the cap era.

He was supposed to be our life long 25 goal scoring/penalty killing Habs captain

I remember back in the days, when both Higgins and Komisarek were considered the future leaders and future core of the Habs. That mid-late 2000s(2005-2009) Koivu/Kovalev era

Komisareks time on the leafs was

Higgins was not the same after that productive 07-08 season. Him and Koivu was a effective duo.

Komisarek looked damn near elite playing alongside Markov but got exposed badly on that shytty Leafs team. Milan Lucic took his soul too.

The Montreal Canadiens have traded defenceman Jarred Tinordi and forward Stefan Fournier to the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for all-star forward John Scott and defenceman Victor Bartley.

Habs are just status now. Therrien finna get that treatment.

Thing is, I dont even think Boucher, his potential and likely successor, is all that. Habs are really limited by the ''the coach must speak french too'' policy. Market must have requirement
