It’s the production on those albums that brehs like. At least it was for me :yeshrug: . All Neptunes and Timbaland.
That's definitely the only reason I played those albums because Justin wasn't doin anything special on them joints. He just had the task of not totally fukkin up

Michael came outta Motown, dropped a couple albums outside the family, got mentored by some of the greatest artists of their time and had seasoned vet Quincy put together a string of high echelon commercial and career-defining albums that allowed Michael to become not just the wealthiest but most commercially viable artist of his time who's legacy is still the definition of what it means to be a pop star. A Disney credit will never come close.

According to Justin, he originally wrote "Gone" for Michael, but Michael’s team rejected it and it ended up becoming an *NSYNC song. Michael heard "Gone" later on and wanted to record it as a duet with Justin. He insisted that it had to be a duet. Justin asked if they could do *NSYNC featuring Michael like a remix, but Michael said no and that it had to be a duet with him and Justin. At that point, it was already *NSYNC's song, but I could hear Michael destroying "Gone" if he had the chance. :wow:

White people like MJ more than black people lol

I never understood this angle
It's the Beatles catalog and Thriller's crossover appeal.
The ones I know are from the MTV generation and remember Thriller.
Before them it was the Motown association, the classic roster had a huge impact not only in the States but in England especially.
See Line 1.
