From what I've read about him he's actually a good X's and O's tactician. Seems he was expected to land an upper-midlevel college job, though, not go right to the League. Either he blew away in his interview, or whoever recommended Dunlap did a hard sell on him.
Who knows...maybe he works out, maybe not. I give him about a 10% chance of succeeding, 90% chance of failing, and about 50/50 on this whole thing becoming pure comedy. 'Least they're probably guaranteed another T3 pick in '13.

I am actually surprised they didn't hire Nate McMillan, since he has ties to the state and has had a pretty decent run as a coach. They could have done much worse than that. Oh, wait... They did.
