You looking for something so you can play vids on PS3? Im not sure for MKV to MP4, but there's a software called MKV2VOB that works well for that.

I use mkv2vob on windows and I have it on Mac now as well. But for some reason it always has an error when I try to convert files I have split on Mac. But it worked fine for me on windows. So for those files, I use handbrake.
