MLB should do a in season tournament in July/August

As we all know the NBA in season tournament was a huge success....


Many sports fans hate the July/August months because of lack of meaningful sports. IMO a in season tournament for MLB during these months could boost ratings for the regular season. Also out of the major four sports baseball has the most causal/bandwagon fans a lot of baseball fans only watch when their team plays in October, an in season tournament could bring that October energy and causals during the summer, thoughts?

It's probably the most profitable time of the year for MLB teams as families go to the stadium.
