There's a reason Dr. King Day is used to ignore rampit (sp) poverty and modern day slavery; they pick and choose aspects of King philosophy and pretend we've cured racism.

Ferguson was looking like Alabama in the 60's last year.

Oh, and they love to act like Dr. King was on his #alllivesmatter, like he didn't fight for black folk.

I don't even feel like looking up quotes.

yep..... speak on it.

If white people loved MLK then he wouldn't of been assassinated.:usure:
How yall let a white boy discredit MLK jr on Martin Luther King day?:snoop:

No discredit. Every member of the civil rights movement was essential and played their part to a TEE. Get it? Today is about progress and about remembering MLK and other's who have helped such a great cause. I didn't know much about Wyatt Tee until a few weeks ago, mostly in part to the US rewriting history so though now would be a good time to show the man some love alongside MLK. He's never going to have his own day in America :mjcry:

Y'all love starting shyt though.

The mlk that they teach in school is watered down. In reality he wasnt against using violence if needed. There was a story about him sitting on a stoop with a couple other men with rifles. And King said "Just in case".

King was far from a c00n. He was gonna further group economics and push for better housing for blacks and thats why he was killed.

I take this

as shytting on King:childplease:

That's not shytting on King. I should have probably elucidated more. King said a lot of things that would anger white men back in the day and certainly wasn't afraid of Violence, but history has rewritten him as preaching only love and #AllLivesMatter type shyt. They have done a great job of rewriting history and rewriting King's Legacy. They haven't done that for anyone else so even those that more than deserve a day in the honor, never will in this America.

I still cant believe yall nikkas still trash this mans name. Ive seen nikkas call him a passive c00n on here:snoop:
Well MLK is the face of integration and the quest for white acceptance. That "I have a Dream" speech is basically "just have faith in white Jesus black people, one day we'll be accepted by whites". It's sad that they don't talk about the shyt he was on before being assassinated.
