MLK was not a "nicer guy" in the context of completely bowing down to whites. That is a myth and a terrible one. He had guns and understood that it might be necessary to use lethal force for self defense, including employing armed defenders. He understood that, as other posters pointed out, his message and terms needed to be presented along side a very counter-revolution and violent alternative.

Malcolm would end up walking back a lot of what he said about MLK later on in his life.

fukk what you heard, MLK was the greatest American that ever lived. Not only did he contribute to the Black Civil Rights movement, but was the most prominent advocate of social justice, socialism, anti-capitalism, love, integration, and legal political morality that has ever existed in this country. And to be honest, that's why I think they killed him. Once you start advocating and showing people the atrocities of the Military Industrial Complex and Capitalist greed, that's the end of the line, especially back in those days during the Cold War and the US Government's systematic blow back to Socialist and Marxist policies.

All in my opinion of course.

One of the last speeches he made was against Capitalism, about the plight of the poor, and against the military industrial complex and the Vietnam war. Would not surprise me if CIA was behind it or at least partially so and let the criminal, paid in blood money walk away from his assassination.

Well his family had enough evidence to prove just enough that the government was involved in MLK's murder. They won a civil suit in 1999.

One juror, David Morphy, said after the trial, ''We all thought it was a cut and dried case with the evidence that Mr. Pepper brought to us, that there were a lot of people involved, everyone from the C.I.A., military involvement, and Jowers was involved.''

Both brothers were needed ...it's like being in the middle of life and death and asking which is better? A grenade or a walkie talkie? Either could save your life or destroy it if used wrong.

Well the one goal was to gain the right to vote which was accomplished. Integration was what the so called leaders fell for and actually ended up duping themselves out of wealth and played right into the hands of other ethnicities as it allowed for them to exploit us economically.

Who the hell begs a man to take his money and while demanding to be treated with dignity and respect? The sit-ins and bus boycotts were so foolish. We should have started our own companies and welcomed everybody.

So think about this; Lets give MLK ALL the credit for changing the laws to "give us equal rights;" I will concede that for this point. We are still getting "smacked" so what is the remedy? What do we do now that there are supposed equality, but we are still getting smacked? When the colonists felt they were getting smacked they didnt hold hands and march, they took the King's shyt and threw it in the bushes (ocean) and told him to eat a dikk, if he had a problem with it then he can come see them... with muskets, pitchforks, arrows (from the Natives), and French muskets, etc...

What has pushing this agenda of MLK's passive resistance accomplished since they still smack us?

And cats thinkin people are siding with MX because they want revenge are extremely lost. Its about standing up for yourself and not being submissive. If you look at the history and laws then you see thats what they tried to make us... submissive. Easy to control. Look at ANY white revolution, they didnt even think about some passive resistance. They know that shyt doesnt accomplish the goal. And by promoting that version of "revolution" they have effectively killed it. They can change ALL the rules on the books if they want, but it doesnt matter of there are no actual real world results.

Cause its mighty funny that every other ethnicity has floated over here and THRIVED off of the legal precedents set by the CRM.....Mexicans...Asians...Indians....Arabs...Africans....all thriving off of the backs of our elders......Why aren't we? I hope you have an answer....

Having attack dogs put on you, having firehoses put on you, being beat with billy clubs and not fighting back in hopes that people will see you as a hapless victim is passive resistence. You can call it whatever you want, its semantics. As long as it involves gettin your ass beat and not defending ones self then it is a failed strategy.

Imagine Jews begging to be accepted by Hitler/nazis post WWII, the thought alone is poppycock. And even if they wouldve gotten to sit at that nazi table it wouldnt have changed the sentiments that allowed them to attempt to exterminate them.

Why have other groups managed to be somewhat successful? They havent been through the same shyt. its the sentiments behind the laws that were/are the problem. Those sentiments have to die and that happens when the people that have them die. The passive method allows it to be done on their schedule, I propose helping them die faster if they dont comply.
