Then why are "hip-hop" stations playing it? You are trying to differentiate between pop music and hip-hop and right now on the radio it is the same thing. At one time it wasn't this way but now it is. Eminem is a pop act, so is Drake, so is Kanye, etc.. They are making songs for people who buy poppy music.
