Some of Em's best work is on here...

No accents, excessive yelling, normal voice, dope rhyme patterns, decent production...

Now this is the case where if he just trimmed the fat, got rid of some songs like stronger than I was, bezerk, so much better, a$$hole, and whatever else he wasn't serious on it would've been solid.

I’ve always thought this as well. Relapse was complete garbage (minus Deja Vu and Stay Wide Awake) to me with all those accents and rapping about nonsense, and Recovery had too much of a pop sound.

Relapse is actually kinda underrated, re-listen to it. Dre beats still sound pristine, Em's flow wasn't as awkward as it is now and despite the subject matter it's still a very prolific rhyming display.

I'm serious when I say those songs are legitimately pretty great

MMLP2 IMO wasn't terrible and actually was kinda better than what I expected, but the good songs were good at best and weren't anything I would go back to and listen again.

MMLP2 is his worst album IMO

Encore is better. shyt, Encore is decent if you cut 5-6 joints off there. Clearly rushed and unfocused but it has moments of classic Em before the great fall off
