One of the announcers said it last year on a broadcast, analytics. Analytics say when down two scores in the 4th quarter, always go for the 2pt conversion.
Because if you get it, you only need an extra point to win the game. If you dont, you still have a chance to tie

I'm not ignoring the Packers game, but I will take it with a grain of salt. Packers D does look foreal. Lions whole middle of the line was new starters at their position with no preseason reps. They were getting exposed that game, no push, confused on stunts and blitzes, and just 0 chemistry. Fraley said that shyt was gone get tightened up though, and it's certainly looking like it. Same thing with the defense too. Shepherd figuring it out in real time and had the 2 time MVP looking like a rookie tonight.
Yall have no D. One and done if u make the playoffs :manny:

I'm not buying the Packers come January for a few reasons.

1. They'll have to win three or four games in a row with Love not having a bad game. I just don't trust him not to have one of those three INT games against some of the NFC playoff teams. I could be wrong, but it's tough to see.

2. I feel like for most teams, you need a real #1 WR to contend. I feel like the Packers have a bunch of #2 WR's. I'm not sure that is enough to take out Detroit or the Eagles.
Jared goff has the same INTs then Love after 3 weeks and your hating ass here still posting bullshyt hot takes :dead:

Not enough to take out DET? We already dominated them. They have no defense. In what world does a team without a defense make it far in the playoffs? :mjtf:

Our offense hasnt even gotten healthy and gel yet. Your disrespect will not go unnoticed

In my opinion, it's just Lamar
Dude masks our poor coaching, defense, and offensive line.
Everyone benefits (including the defense) because of Lamar.

It's not sustainable

He looked injured last game vs Browns and yesterday vs Lions
You weren't saying all that just a couple of days ago when you were hyping them up in how they washed the Browns defense.

Can't pick and choose your narrative depending on their win and how they perform.

Meh. I think y'all love for your own teams and along with disrespecting rivals doesn't allow y'all to see things objectively. I don't think there's a problem with the defense. They'll improve as the season progresses and they still don't have their game wrecker in the middle back yet. Plus Hutch looking better game by game as he comes back from injury. Shepherd is still developing as a first year play caller, but he's already showing more of an ability to adjust in game than AG did. I believe that defense we saw in the 2nd half of this Ravens game is more indicative of what we'll see from this Lions team moving forward, barring any catastrophic injuries.

This is why the Ben Johnson dikk riding pissed me off lol. He was a great playcaller but this is Dan Campbell's offense...which is really just Sean Payton's version of the west coast offense. Most of the trick plays we did were run by Bill Walsh/Niners back in the day. This offense was never going to fall off because one coach left. The players are too good. I think Johnson is a great playcaller, not taking anything from him. But if he was the OC last night we probably have 10 more passes and possibly lose. Run the ball. The point of play action is opening up the pass with the run. I wish we had that type of run focus against Washington in the playoffs...

Not trusting Love isn't a "hot take". I believe unless the QB is Mahomes, Lamar, or Allen that you need some elite playmakers on offense. The Lions top WR and HB are both better than what the Packers have. The Packers have a handful of very good #2 WR's, but I believe you need a real #1 in most cases.

Do I trust Goff? No, but I trust Love and those weapons less than what Goff has in Detroit.

Never did I last year think we were gonna do anything. I even said DET has best case to reach the NFC Ship game last year. Im not being bias at all. We have the defense to make a run easily. Just need to get healthy on the offense side of things.
