The final 5 minutes of Malcolm X & MBB will always be tough watches for me…a big part of why don’t watch them

Ironically Spike & Denzel are the culprits behind both :russ:

Another thing is before Sam Jackson became a huge star he was the king of small parts/cameo. He appears out of nowhere in Mo Better Blues. The only time we have seen him and Denzel on screen together, which is shame.

cameos/small parts in Raw by Eddie Murphy, Coming to America, Menace to Society, Juice, Goodfellas, and Jurassic Park. Those are some hits and legendary films

I like how in this movie Wesley Snipes and Denzel Washington had their issues with one another but it never was to the point they were enemies and in general treated each other with respect.

It sadden me the depection of Black men (non degenerate) we used to get and don't exist anymore

Exactly, if they made this movie today Wesley's character would be happy about Denzel getting beat up instead of standing up for him and stopping it. He would have been mean to him and gave him no grace when he tried to return. Just because they disagreed about Jazz. Very happy Spike didn't go that route.
