I had one of these in my head a many years ago. It's basically a mole that has grown over the years. The procedure is simple: they numb the spot and slice it with a razor. Takes 5 mins. With that being said it's no reason the team docs haven't removed it for him lol.....but since it wasn't it inspired long lost double dragon / punch out references and nostalgia laughs are never bad lol
